Barton Gellman on Dick Cheney, Part I
Earlier this year, Washington Post reporter Barton Gellman shared the Pulitzer Prize for his reporting on Vice President Dick Cheney’s domestic agenda.
He’s now expanded on that in his new biography, called Angler: The Cheney Vice Presidency.
In the first of a two-part interview conducted earlier this month, WMNF asked Barton Gellman about the beginning of his book – which looks at Cheney’s first job for George W. Bush – vetting the vice presidential candidates. We asked Gellman about what happened in the process with former Oklahoma Republican Gov. Frank Keating.
We’ll hear the second part of this interview tomorrow night on the Evening News.comments powered by Disqus
