Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Thursday) | Listen to this entire show:

Good afternoon, welcome to WMNF’s Radioactivity program. I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up, we’ll hear about the Seventh Annual Daniel Pearl World Music Day … and later the Presidential Climate Action Project, things the next president can do to help the environment immediately upon taking office.

First up today, Dawn Morgan is one of the organizers of the commemoration of the Daniel Pearl World Music Day in Tampa tomorrow at 7 p.m. at the Tre Amici coffeehouse on 19th Street in Ybor City.

Daniel Pearl was the Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and murdered by extremists in Pakistan in 2002 while researching a news story. In his spare time. he played classical, jazz and bluegrass music.

The Daniel Pearl Music Days coincide with Pearl’s birthday and uses the power of music to spread a message of hope.

We're also joined by Jesse Stehlik with Tre Amic; and Taryn Sabia and Adam Fritz of the Urban Charette, who will making a presentation tomorrow at the event.
