Alex Sink campaigns for Obama's small business tax plans
John McCain was in Miami today, where he attacked Barack Obama on taxes.
The GOP is trying to seize on Obamaâs remark to âJoe the plumber,â Joseph Wurzelbacher from Holland, Ohio, when Obama said "he wants to spread the wealth around."
McCain campaign manager Steve Schmidt told the New York Times today that that was a mistake by Obama, as did Newt Gingrich on Good Morning America today.
In reality, based on what his salary is, Wurzelbacher would get a tax cut, not a raise from Obamaâs plan. But Democrats have traditionally had trouble in national elections for being labeled as tax and spend liberals.
WMNF asked Floridaâs Chief Financial Officer and Obama supporter Alex Sink today if she feared those charges could hurt Obama in Florida. Weâll hear more from her next week on Floridaâs challenging economic times.comments powered by Disqus
