A debate over Amendment 2
Welcome to WMNF's Radioactivity program. I'm Rob Lorei. On todayâs show: a debate about the proposed constitutional ban on gay marriage. But first some listener comments about yesterdayâs interview with Ralph Nader who is a candidate for president. Many of the comments were about a listenerâs suggestion that people who receive a government check be barred from voting.
On the November ballot thereâs only one proposed amendment to the Florida constitution proposed by the citizens. Itâs the proposal to define marriage in the Florida constitution. The amendment, sponsored by Florida4marriage.org, defines marriage as the legal union of only one man and one woman.
Our guests are:
Terry Kemple is president of the community issues council and he is a backer of Amendment 2. http://www.yes2marriage.org; firstname.lastname@example.org; (813) 653-4822)
