SHOULD IT BE HARDER FOR CITIZENS' GROUPS TO AMEND THE FLORIDA CONSTITUTION?

Paul Jacob, President of Citizens in Charge, a national, non-partisan, non-profit grassroots citizens' lobby dedicated to protecting and expanding initiative and referendum rights.
Jacob, is urging citizen's groups and civic leaders to join a statewide fight against three constitutional amendment bills passed March 11th by the Senate Ethics & Elections Committee. Jacob's describes (SJR 2392, 2394 and 2396) as attempts to "steal voting rights from Florida citizens" and vows the help of the national group in building a coalition of Florida citizens organizations and in communicating directly with voters to fight these amendments.
