One hundred fifty mannequins wearing black T-shirts were aligned in rows in downtown Tampaâ€™s Joe Chillura Courthouse Square this morning to recognize people suffering from ALS, also known as Lou Gehrigâ€™s disease.
Dara Alexander is president of the Florida chapter of the ALS Association. â€œALS is a neuromuscular disease. â€¦ [In Florida,] 350 people, approximately, each year, diagnosed and die with ALS.â€
