Good afternoon, welcome to Radioactivity. I'm Rob Lorei. Coming up: an assessment of the first 100 days of President Barack Obama. But first, a lot of listener comments about yesterday's program and the controversy over plans to issue religiously themed Florida license plates.
Today marks the first 100 days of Obama's term in office. What has he accomplished and what has he not done? Politifact.com, a project of the St. Petersburg Times is tracking more than 500 campaign promises made by Obama before he was elected. Here to talk about the first 100 days and how well President Obama has kept those promises is Scott Montgomery, the government and politics editor at the Times. Scott, congratulations on the Times winning two Pulitzer's last week.
