Last week, Tampa City Council members discussed the possibility of putting a solar roof on the top of the Tampa Convention Center.

In Orlando, that will become a reality next week. That’s where the the Green Cities Florida Conference will take place. Organizers say the event’s purpose is to advance the business and science of sustainability for business and government.

One of those who will be at the event is Lori Cunniff, currently the Manager of the Orange County Environmental Protection Division in Orlando.

The Green Cities Convention takes place in Orlando on May 20 and 21.
