Good afternoon, welcome to Radioactivity. I'm Rob Lorei. Coming up we'll meet Ron Aronson, author of the new book Living Without God. Christopher Hitchens says: "Aronson demonstrates that atheism represents much more than what one does not believe: that it is the precondition for humanism."
Aronson is author or editor of nine books, including Jean-Paul Sartre Philosophy in the World and Camus and Sartre: Story of a Friendship and the Quarrel that Ended It. Distinguished Professor of the History of Ideas at Wayne State University, he has contributed to The Nation, USA Today, the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, and the International Herald Tribune.
