David Kessler on 'The End of Overeating' - Part 2 listen06/12/09 Mitch E. Perry
WMNF Drive-Time News Friday | Listen to this entire show:
David Kessler is a professor at the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine. He was also the commissioner for the Food & Drug Administration from 1990 to 1997 for Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
He’s also the author of the new book, The End of Overeating: Taking Control of the Insatiable American Appetite, in which he tries to answer the question about why Americans overindulge and what they can do about it.
In the second part of our interview conducted earlier this week, we asked Dr. Kessler about the addiction that people get to certain foods, and how to address that problem.
