Browning who was elected as a democrat in the 2000 election, changed horses midstream and became a republican in December of 2002. He said at the time that, "The Democratic Party has become too far to the left, and has left me"Browning signaled out Nancy Pelosi, the minority whip, as an example. Browning was invited to speak on his views of the paper receipt issue on Pasco County's voting machines. The day started out nicely enough. Roll Tape: Mike Mellone of Pasco County brought up the problems with E.S.&S's Voting machines, the same as used in Pasco, in past elections in Texas, and in Venezuela.
