WMNF Drive-Time News Monday | Listen to this entire show:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has stopped putting annual pay raises in contracts with private consultants. They took that action after a public records request by Democratic State Senator Dave Aronberg.
Further, the FDOT head told Aronberg, a Democratic candidate for attorney general, that the agency has already renegotiated some contracts to remove salary increases from amounts that have yet to be paid to “reduce the extent and impact of salary modification terms that may be included in existing consultant contracts.â€
WMNF spoke with Senator Aronberg this afternoon. He is running for the Democratic nomination for Attorney General.
