Obama's First Six Months In Office08/11/09 Robert Lorei
Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Tuesday) | Listen to this entire show:
Welcome to WMNF Radioactivity. I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up we’ll hear from the executive editor of Rolling Stone Magazine about the current cover story on President Obama’s first six months in office. But first some listener comments about last Thursday’s program. On that program we heard from a Republican activist who was organizing the protest outside of the town hall meeting on health care last Thursday in Ybor City. We also heard from a former health insurance industry executive who has become a whistleblower who is now revealing the unethical practices of the health insurance industry.
The current cover story in Rolling Stone magazine features an interview with three leading political observers: David Gergen, a senior political analyst for CNN and a former advisor to four presidents; Pulitzer Prize winning New York Times columnist Paul Krugman; and Academy Award winning film director Michael Moore. Conducting the interview was Eric Bates, the Executive Editor of Rolling Stone. Eric has a long resume, but early in his work history Eric worked here at WMNF in the news department.
