Approximately 20 critics of health care reform gathered this morning in front of the Federal Building in Tampa, which also houses the district office of Florida U.S. Senator Bill Nelson.
Dick Richards from St. Petersburg held aloft a sign that read, “Give Me Liberty but NOT Death†. He said reform was necessary, but not if it came with higher taxes.
Rebecca Kahn spends time in both Jacksonville and Tampa. She agrees that health care reform is needed, but not the kind she’s hearing from President Obama and Congressional Democrats
John from Dunedin carried a sign that read “Government Health Care Will Make You Sickâ€.
Those were just some of the voices of critics of President Obama and the Democratic Congress’ plans for health care reform, speaking in downtown Tampa this morning.
