While the NetRoots Nation conference was going on in Pittsburgh last week, Adele Stan, the Washington bureau chief for Alternet, covered a right-wing gathering in the same town. It led to her article, “Inside Story on Town Hall Riots: Right-Wing Shock Troops Do Corporate America's Dirty Work.” Stan was interviewed today by Women’s Show co-host Mary Glenny about how these conservative “Astroturf” groups are trying to portray themselves as having grassroots support while getting support from the usual suspects.
