League of Women Voters celebrates Women's Equality Day listen

Today is the 89th anniversary of Women’s Equality Day, commemorating the passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote.

Deirdre McNab is the freshly-minted head of the Florida chapter of the Women League of Voters. WMNF spoke to her today on Women’s Equality Day, and other issues, including the late Ted Kennedy.
