A day after the country has had a chance to absorb the death of Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy, political analysts are now looking at whether his death helps, hurts, or at all changes the battle to get a health care reform bill passed this year in Congress.
Ron Pollack is the founding Executive Director with Families USA, a Washington D.C.-based advocacy group for universal health care.
WMNF spoke with him this morning to discuss some of the important health care legislation that Senator Kennedy was responsible for, that he worked on with Republicans. And Pollack discussed what he thinks the chances of health care legislation getting passed this year are.
