A new work of public art was dedicated in downtown Tampa this morning. A cenotaph and art installation called “Ceremonial Space” is located at the south end of Cotanchobee Fort Brooke Park on the Riverwalk near the Tampa Bay History Center.
This is City Council member Linda Saul-Sena’s reaction: “The public art piece is an extraordinarily beautiful place to visit.”
Bob Haozous is a member of the Warm Springs Chiricahua Apache Trive of Oklahoma and works as an artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The total cost of the project was $500,000 dollars.
