This morning in Washington President Barack Obama spoke at the annual National Prayer Breakfast. Former University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow also participated. During this Sunday’s Super Bowl, CBS will air an ad featuring Tebow and his mother. The right-wing group Focus on the Family has produced the ad, which is widely believed to advocate against abortion.
CBS’ decision to air the ad has become a focus of protests from many pro-choice and women’s groups, especially since advocacy ads have been rejected during recent Super Bowls. Today, WMNF Women’s Show host Mary Glenney spoke with Jodi Jacobson, editor in chief of the reproductive health website RH Reality Check.
