Sink: Fed, not BP, should take over cleanup

Florida Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink is asking President Obama to take control of the Gulf cleanup efforts. In a letter to the White House, Sink asked why small business owners should have to get help from BP in recovering lost revenue. WMNF asked Sink if she was optimistic that the Obama administration would respond.

Sink, a Democrat running for governor, also asked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, among others, to brief the state cabinet Tuesday
