Documnentary filmmakers discuss new film on BP oil disaster in Southern Louisiana

Coming up an interview with Loyola University (Chicago) film makers Elizabeth Coffman and Ted Hardin. they are making a documentary on southern Louisiana, "Veins in the Gulf." The documentary features Louisiana poet (and former University of Tampa professor) Martha Serpas who has served as their guide and narrator for the last eight years as they talk with Estuary program directors, musicians, writers, local politicians, and radio hosts who have worked to save the southern Louisiana coastline from land loss, hurricanes, and oil industry damage.

VEINS IN THE GULF was almost finished when the oil spill happened. They just returned from Louisiana with Martha a few weeks ago, and have been speaking with media ever since...
