Hillsborough County to study cell towers
The Hillsborough County Commission is creating a committee to study rules regulating cell phone towers. Interim County administrator Mike Merrill predicts the study group created today will cost about $50,000.
Commissioner Mark Sharpe asked Merrill about the scope of the wireless communication towers committee.
Carrie Grimail is a concerned citizen who wants the county to make it more difficult for cell towers to be built near schools and neighborhoods.
The motion by Kevin Beckner to create a wireless communication towers study committee passed unanimously.comments powered by Disqus
