Our first guest is Tampa native Frank Sanchez, who received a recess appointment from President Obama to serve as Under Secretary for International Trade at the U.S. Department of Commerce on March 27, 2010. As Under Secretary, Sánchez leads the International Trade Administration which assists in the development of U.S. trade policy in the global economy. He formerly was a candidate for Mayor and Congress here in Tampa. We'll talk about exports, China, free trade agreements, American manufacturing, Cuba policy and the role exports are playing in lifting the economy out of the recession.
