"Off and Running"
From A Woman's Point of View
Off and Running is an American coming-of-age story. But it is one shaped by the new realities of an increasingly diverse American population, especially as those realities affect family life. The film follows Avery, an African-American athlete and daughter of Jewish Lesbian parents, as she comes to grip with her roots and identity.
Off and Running is in the POV film series and will air Tuesday, Sept 7 on PBS.
Avery Klein-Cloud, the young woman, and Sharese Bullock, a co-producer, will discuss the film.comments powered by Disqus
