The Republican Marketing Plan

I believe the Republicans are master strategists and extremely organized in communications. This is the why they are succeeding. They have some the most intelligent and creative corporate executives working for them. Unfortunately, they also have some of the most greedy and power-hungry executives who know millions of people are greatly influenced by the television and entertainment industries. Beauty, fear, sex and drama sell products. Elections are no exception. The recent elections were won on those principles. These were clearly diversions on what the real truths and issues are. I believe George W's book, too, is part of a master marketing strategy plan for the Republicans. The timing is just perfect for this "damage control" publication and unfortunately, a well thought out plan. It is truly sickening. More sickening is how the American public is falling for it hook, line, and sinker (pun intended). And... due to the recent elections, I am seriously considering to move away from Florida rather than see it turn into one big paved amusement part. Many of my friends feel this way too. Now that Jerry Brown is Governor of California again, moving there is a serious destination (and perhaps my last hope for living in the US). I have been living in Florida since 1989 and thought it would be my permanent home. Not now. Thank goodness WMNF has a great website and I can take it with me when I go! I love your shows, Rob. They are very intelligent, truthful and though provoking. I wish there was a way to get more people to listen.
