9/11 conspiracy theories debunked
Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Monday)
This Sunday marks the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
Millions of Americans still believe that the 9/11 terror attacks were part of a well organized, highly orchestrated plot, carried out with precision. A poll commissioned by the BBC found that one in seven Americans thinks 9/11 was a staged act. One in four 16-24 year olds think it was a conspiracy.
Yesterday we carried an interview with Richard Gage, founder of Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. He believes that controlled explosions brought down three World Trade Center skyscrapers on 9/11, not damage from direct hits by airplanes. Gage is a leader in the 9/11 Conspiracy movement.
Today weâll hear the other side. Our guest is David Dunbar executive editor of Popular Mechanics who co-edited the book DEBUNKING 9/11 MYTHS: WHY CONSPIRACY THEORIES CANâT STAND UP TO THE FACTS. (Hearst)comments powered by Disqus
