Minneapolis journalist and University of Minnesota journalism professor G.R. Anderson came on the program to preview the Iowa Straw Poll and the whole Michelle Bachmann phenomenon. Anderson wrote a story about Bachmann in City Pages newspaper in 2006 that was very influential in a 2011 piece on the Minnesota member of Congress by Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi.
