Blaming the Victim; Geraldo says Trayvon Martin would still be alive if not for his 'hoodie' listen03/23/12 Lisa Marzilli
Last Call Friday | Listen to this entire show:
On today's Last Call we continued discussion on Florida's controversial 'stand your ground' law which so far has allowed neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman to remain unaccountable for the shooting death of unarmed, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. The Tampa Bay Times reported this week that 70 percent of the cases where it's been used since 2005 have resulted in fatalities.
Before we opened up the phones we also heard from Geraldo Rivera who today, on Fox & Friends blamed Trayvon's death on the way he was dressed that night. Rivera penned an article for Fox News Latino titled "Trayvon Martin Would Be Alive but for His Hoodie".
