Citizen Group Opposes Plan to Build The Lens in St. Petersburg

Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. I'm Rob Lorei. Coming up today we'll hear from Hillsborough County Commissioner Mark Sharpe about a proposal to spend $8.25 million dollars to make road improvements to bring a Bass Pro Shops retail complex to eastern Hillsborough County.

But first we'll talk with Fred Whaley who is chair of a group called Concerned Citizens of St. Petersburg. The group has launched a petition drive to Stop the Lens.
