Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. I’m Rob Lorei. Coming up we’ll meet a local engineer who is proposing an innovative solution to global warming….

Later we’ll discuss Alex Jones’ much talked about appearance on CNN on Monday night… But first yesterday on this program we discussed mental health care treatment here in the Bay area. That program brought this reaction from a listener.

Our first guest today lives in Sun City Center and believes that fixing Global Warming may be far quicker, easier, and cheaper than we think. He says we can economically suck Global Warming out of the air by repowering the world's largest 1,200 power plants with small high temperature nuclear reactors that have sufficient power and the necessary extreme heat to also power CO2 capture equipment that can remove Global Warming CO2 from the air. These nuclear power plants would use thorium as a fuel.

Jim Holm is a professional engineer who has spent 40+ years working in and around electrical power plant engineering, industrial electricity, and industrial campus energy management systems.

A surreal television event took place this past Monday night when InfoWars radio host Alex Jones' appeared on "Piers Morgan Tonight," on CNN. Jones is a conspiracy theorist who’s popular show is a haven for people who believe that 9/11 was an inside job, that the UN, the Federal Reserve and international bankers are part of a wider conspiracy to institute a one world government. Yesterday, Jones was a top-trending topic on Twitter as people read about the interview, watched clips online or shared their thoughts after watching Monday night's fiery exchange live. Alex Jones is promoting a petition to deport Morgan back to the UK for expressing his views on gun control…. Here’s the first part of his appearance on Piers Morgan show.
