Nearly two years ago the U.S. Supreme Court put forward its decision in Citizens United vs. FEC. It makes it easier for corporations and labor unions to make donations to political campaigns. But there’s a movement growing to amend the Constitution to limit corporate contributions and to eliminate the concept of corporate personhood. One group working to this end is Move to Amend. On Friday evening, Move to Amend spokesperson David Cobb rallied a group of about 40 people at the Unitarian Universalist church in Tampa. Cobb was the 2004 Green Party nominee for president.

Move to Amend Tampa is planning a rally on the second anniversary of the Citizens United decision, January 20, at the federal courthouse in Tampa.
