Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Wednesday) | Listen to this entire show:
Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. I’m Rob Lorei.
Coming up today we’ll hear a debate and discussion about the proposals for immigration reform. But first- two listener comments about previous programs… one about the discussion about smart meters- which came up on the last call on Monday. The other about the brief discussion yesterday about immigration reform…. Here’s what two listeners had to say.
Yesterday President Obama gave a major speech yesterday about his ideas for immigration reform. We’ll hear part of that speech, followed by a short debate from PBS last night. And then we’ll open the phone lines.
President Obama speaking yesterday in Nevada. Florida’s junior US Senator Marco Rubio had some criticism for the President about the plan. Here’s part of what Rubio said yesterday in the Senate.
Next we’ll hear short debate that took place last night on the PBS News Hour. Gwen Ifil introduces the segment.
Now here to talk with us live about immigration is Patrick Manteiga, editor and publisher of the local, trilingual newspaper LaGaceta.
