Discussion with the director of Tampa's International Freethought Film Festival

Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. I'm Rob Lorei. On the first part of today's program we'll meet Andrea Steele who is executive director of the International Freethough Film Festival.

The event will take place at the Tampa Theatre, located at 711 Franklin Street in downtown Tampa, Florida, USA. Opening night begins at 7:30 pm on Friday May 13, 2011. The weekend-long event will run through Sunday, May 15th. Information on the program can be found at the Website of the International Freethought Film Festival.

The ten screenings during the event will consist of independent, full length features and short films selected from submissions, which were entered for consideration by the filmmakers. The line-up reflects the purpose of the International Freethought Film Festival, which is to promote reason, critical thinking and freedom of inquiry through the medium of film. Discussions and Q&A sessions will also be a part of the program.
