On the eve of the start of early voting in Florida, we spoke with Hillsborough and Pasco County Supervisors of Elections Dr. Earl Lennard and Brian Corley.

Early voting hours vary from county to county but the majority of voters will have access to the maximum 96 hours over the next 8 days. Hernando County will have the fewest early voting hours in the state at 62. Supervisor of Elections Annie Williams told the Tampa Bay Times, "I would love to…but financially I just can't do it. I can't pay the extra overtime."

About 30 mostly small counties will offer less early voting time than they did before, including Gadsden County, the only Florida county with a majority of black voters, which will offer only 72 hours of early voting, including seven hours on Sunday.
