Enrollment experts discuss signing up for the Affordable Care Act
Florida is one of the few states on track to meet White House projections for enrollment in health plans under the Affordable Care Act. Yesterday, Health and Human Services officials released data showing that more than 442,000 Floridians have signed up for plans since October. That's not far from the Obama administration's target goal of 477,000 for the end of March- which is the deadline for signing up for the ACA.
But many people still have not signed up and have questions about signing up for the ACA.
Today on Radioactivity were joined by several people who are experts in helping people sign up for Obamacare; Kristen Nash with Enroll America, Melanie Hall from the Family Health Care Foundation and Louisa McQueeney, navigator with CHAIN (Community Health Action Information Network) a health care advocacy non-profit.
