Good morning welcome to Radioactivity. I'm Rob Lorei. Coming up today we'll speak with Kent Bailey who is Co-Chair of the Growth Management Committee of the Sierra Club, Tampa Bay Group.
Bailey says: "A bold plan to trade a large tract of tidal land for a much smaller tract of public land at the south end of the Sunshine Skyway has generated a great deal of concern for the Sierra Club. Developers plan to construct seawalls and dredge a deep basin on publicly owned land where they will build a tourist destination complete with captive dolphins, right in the middle of the Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve." Bailey and other environmentalists will take a tour of the area proposed for development this Sunday.
