This morning we’re joined by two doctors who are active in improving health care access for all Americans. They are Dr. Mona Mangat an allergist in private practice at Bay Area Allergy & Asthma and a Member of Board of Directors of Doctors for America.
And Dr. Valerie Arkoosh is in Philadelphia- she’s the President of The National Physicians Alliance (NPA). "The National Physicians Alliance’s mission is to achieve high quality, affordable health care for all. The NPA was founded as an alternative to traditional trade associations that primarily serving the economic interests of physicians rather than advocating first and foremost on behalf of patients and public health. The NPA does not accept funding from pharmaceutical or medical device companies."
