Radioactivity: Live Call-In (Wednesday) | Listen to this entire show:
Good morning, welcome to Radioactivity. I'm Rob Lorei. Coming up today-- yesterday the Governor gave his state of the state address at the opening session of this year's legislative session. During his speech Governor Scott recognized one teacher-- Elizabeth Heli of Greco Middle School in Temple Terrace. But he also recognized the (CEO of Northrop Grumman), the president of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care in Jacksonville), the Regional Vice President of Verizon) and the (president of Goya Foods in Miami). All of the companies have promised to create jobs in Florida.
While the Governor has centered his message on appealing to corporate CEO's- what would a budget based on the needs of average people look like? We're joined now by Damien Filer who is with Progress Florida. Along with members of Florida Watch Action and America Votes-- they are offering a middle class agenda for Florida.
