Helen Thomas, pioneering White House journalist and author, died at the age of 92 on July 20, 2013. Helen Thomas was one of the first women reporters and the first woman to be a full time White house Correspondent. She has covered every American President since Jack Kennedy including the most recent, President Barrack Obama. In this speech at the Oberlin Commencement Ceremonies in 1996, she was asked her most memorable moment in her history of reporting. Helen recounted that it was Nixon's visit to China in which she was the only correspondent travelling with the White House Official Party. She recounts some of those moments.
