Monday's "Last Call"

Thanks for the Leonard Pitts interview! He's one of the best newspaper columnists around these days. From the calls you received after the interview, I got the impression that those who called (almost all in support of Gov Scott's voter purge) are more worried about a very few non-qualified people who MIGHT vote than they are about the systematic theft of thousands of votes such as in the election of 2000. Yes, there's a history of voter fraud in Florida, but it's not about a few non-citizen scofflaws who manage to register to vote. So far, the Governor's purge has netted a small handful of non-citizens who MAY have voted. Besides... what makes any one party believe that non-citizens who managed to register to vote will vote for the other party and not theirs?
