During the third day of testimony, a friend of Trayvon Martin who was on the phone with him moments before he was fatally shot by George Zimmerman described how the teen complained to her that the neighborhood watch volunteer was watching him as he walked home from a convenience store.

Rachel Jeantel testified today in Zimmerman's murder trial. She is considered one of the prosecution's most important witnesses.

Earlier Wednesday, a former neighbor of George Zimmerman, Jayne Surdyka testified that she heard a boy's cry for help shortly before hearing the teen's fatal shooting.

Zimmerman is pleading not guilty, claiming self-defense.
