Laura Tillman

Laura Tillman is a freelance journalist and photographer who was a staff reporter for the Brownsville Herald. Brownsville is one of the poorest cities in the United States and is right on the border with Mexico.

Laura wrote an article called Crossing the Line which is in the current issue of The Nation, in which she shines a light on the state of reproductive access in this area. Why are the women from this area of the United States going south over the border into Mexico for abortion and reproductive services? Immigration in reverse?
