The Democratic National Convention is going on this week in Charlotte. We’d spoke about listener's thoughts about the speeches, the protests, or their experiences in Tampa during last week’s Republican convention.
Just before going to air, the Democrats passes two amendments to their party platform in a controversial voice vote.
The amendments put two provisions back into the platform that had been removed. One was a reference to "God." The other declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
There was also a debate about whether to vote for the lesser of two evils or to vote for an independent candidate instead.
