On Today’s program we talked with four people involved with the 2012 Florida Native Plant Society (FNPS) Annual Conference that starts this week in Plant City. Joining the program was Troy Springer, past president of the Suncoast Chapter of the FNPS and Conference Chairperson; Debbie Butts, co-host of the Sustainable Living Program, long time FNPS member and conference volunteer; Steven Woodmansee, current president of the FNPS, and the Executive Director, Kellie Westervelt. Besides the Conference, we talked about the importance of native plants, problems with invasive non-natives and their possible controls, appropriate mulches and more.
