Even though most citizens dutifully pay their taxesâitâs not enough. For the past several years governments at all levels have been cutting budgetsâlaying off workers and reducing services and pay.
At the same time we are told that the federal governmentâs debt has reached crisis proportionsâand even more needs to be done.
Meantime- multibillion-dollar American corporations such as Exxon, Google and Bank of America are making record profits. And as our next guests tell usâthese corporations are concealing many of those colossal profits overseas to avoid paying US income taxes.
