Nicole Woo, head of Domestic Policy for the Center for Economic Policy Research institute discussed the "resolution" of the "fiscal cliff" She pointed out the over-blown nature of the crisis and the failure to resolve some of the most important areas-namely the debt ceiling which is yet to come. She and others refer to the current economic problems as the "Triple Cliff" and is concerned about the effects to the economy and the average salaried citizen. She pointed out many areas that concern her that will be in future discussions such as social security and medicare. She also questioned the focus on the deficit rather than stimulating the economy with jobs and structural attention.
