A group of leading reproductive rights organizations commissioned Democratic pollster Mark Mellman to conduct a nationwide on-line focus group. The purpose of this research was to gauge voter attitudes towards the John Roberts Supreme Court nomination, particularly around the issues of privacy, women's health and safety, and Roe v. Wade.

Last month, St Petersburg state representative Frank Peterman called together a group of black elected officials to address the rising number of black men killing other black men. Today they held their second meeting to strategize on what the problem is, and to plan a town hall meeting where young black men can tell the politicians what the problems are and the solutions might be.

Hillary Clinton isn't running for president, but her campaign already has started in New Hampshire.
As we reported last night, a group, Hillary Now!, this week has begun running TV ads in Manchester, Concord, Portsmouth, Salem and Nashua, pushing the New York senator for president in 2008. The group has no official ties to Clinton's office, but its president, Bob Kunst, of Miami Beach, said he is laying the foundation for her possible bid for the presidency.
