A 4-year study of the Miami Dade county police has found that there is a difference in how black people are treated once they are pulled over by police, and there are further questions about why the report, which was completed in November, was kept from the public for the past 6 months.

FloridaÃ¢â¬â¢s new minimum wage went into effect today. An hourÃ¢â¬â¢s work is now worth at least 6.15 an hour, which is a dollar more than it was until now. For tipped employees, the new minimum wage rises from 2.13 to 3.13 an hour. To let the public, and business owners know about the new wage, ACORN held a rally in South St Petersburg.
