The Hillsborough County Commission met today. WMNFâ€™s Grace Santos was there.
A much anticipated discussion and vote on a Park at Morris Bridge Road in Hillsborough County was delayed until the next Commission meeting later this month.
The debate has centered around whether to use the park for recreational use for children as Commissioners Jim Norman and Ken Hagen have argued for, or whether it should be preserved as a wilderness area.

Last week a mailer sent by Florida Republicans to voters in Miami-Dade County led to a furor , when it suggested that they vote Absentee at the end of this month in the Primary election........

Today Florida Republican Senate Candidate Larry Klayman joined a growing chorus of Democrats and other progressive organizations is calling for paper backups to electronic voting machines to be used in 15 Florida counties at the end of this month.

Although Tomorrow is the deadline for getting required signatures into the Secretary of State's Office, right now it appears that there will be eight Proposed Changes to the State's Constitution that Floridians will vote on in November.
But there is already a legal move against one of those amendments.
