There are over almost 2 million US military veterans living in Florida, most of them receive full health coverage from the government, through the department of veterans affairs. One of the biggest Veterans medical centers is Bay Pines, in St Petersburg. Sarasota Film Society brings the Global Film Initiative. This is a program of films organized by the Global Film Initiative and the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Burns Cinema is the only southeern location where they will be shown. Countries represented include films from Cuba, Palestine, Tajikistan, Philippines, Algeria, Iran, India, Brazil, and Tunisia. Today the Hillsborough County Commission discussed an internal review recently completed regarding HARTLINE, the County's Regional Transit Authority.....
